Friends, a lot of people want to join this forum. Problem is, most of them belong to the lowly breed known as spammers, who would like to advertise dubious goods and services and possibly bother legitimate forum users in other ways. To keep this vermin out of the forum, I have resorted to manual approval (mostly disapproval, actually) of new forum users.

Sometimes, these creeps are able to post a spam message and it might take some time before I am able to remove it. For your safety, do not follow those links.

If you have registered a forum account but not received a response, chances are that I have made a mistake. It will help if you contact me by clicking on the link in this posting, or contact us via links in the news stories.
Also, choosing a credible user name might help you avoid being confused with spammers. Creative names like bibtohsnxxbe etc are very likely to be thrown out at first opportunity.

These measures may seem excessive, but I am doing this to keep the forum clean, safe and interesting for our good users. Thanks for your understanding, and for your interest in the Views and News from Norway forum.
